What to expect on a guided fishing trip

One of our licensed guides will call you the day before your trip to introduce themselves, learn about your preferences, experience, and decide where you’ll meet the next day.

All the fishing equipment you’ll need will be provided by your guide, though you’re welcome to bring your own gear at your own risk. Full day trips include lunch, snacks, and drinks. Let your guide know if you have any food restrictions.

Your guide will take you in their vehicle to a beautiful section of one of the Missoula area rivers - the Clark Fork, the Blackfoot River, the Bitterroot River, or Rock Creek. Most rivers are best experienced from your guides raft or drift boat, but at times the best fishing can be had wading, especially on Rock Creek; a blue-ribbon trout stream East of Missoula

By fishing with us you’re signing up for an adventure! Check the weather and bring appropriate clothing. Montana weather can vary drastically from day to day. Your guide will have a dry place for you to store anything that can’t get wet, like keys, phones, or medications.

Our goal is to get you on some stunning native trout in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, fish are fickle creatures and there is always a chance of getting skunked. Listen to your guide, be prepared to lift your rod, and chances are you’ll go home with some spectacular photos and memories.
